Hey everyone!

I’ve already had a couple outtakes requests so I figured I’d start ruminating on it. I haven’t even really thought yet about what scenes I’m going to do, so I thought I’d turn to you all. I am also planning something to post later in the year that will essentially be a short story (a futuretake, if you will) made of multiple character’s perspectives (who I haven’t quite decided yet), and since there are so many, this will help me narrow it down:

Please leave specific request for outtakes in the comment section of this post. Reminder, this is only for The Final Shade of Fifty. If someone else has already suggested and outtake you want to see, reply to their comment and back them up– I’m very susceptible to peer pressure and I won’t have time to write everything, so gang up with each other to win lol.

As the story comes to a close, you’ll be able to find this post for further requests at the top of the “Wishing…” page, on the menu above. I’m sure there will be requests for many of the coming chapters….

Does that forecast some drama on the horizon? Maybe.

Have I said eight billion times that this is an HEA? Yes.

Is that still true? Yes.

    1.When Christian flies to Ny thinking Ana cheated on him with Sawyer
    2.When Christian takes Callie to the zoo with Elliot
    3. Luke after he “breaks up” with Jade
    4. Elliot when Kennedy is born

  10. Thank you for accommodating and asking for our preferred outtakes❤ Love to know how Christian felt when Endurance failed so epically. What must have gone through his mind. Having to let go of Gail. I know Ana’s love for him kept him going. On Luke, when broke off with Jade and the final decision to choose Jade over continuing to be Ana’s CPO. Also, Elliot. I am sad your fabulous story is about to wrap and there will not be future Ana and Christian story from you. You write amazing books about them. I am very happy though that you’re going independent with your original materials. You’ll ace it, no doubt about that💯

    2. Christian’s thoughts when the experiment blows up the building.
    3. Ray, when Kim posts Caliope’s photo.
    4. Carmen/Christian discussion when Carmen hires Ana despite Christian’s call to Carmen.

    Tara, I’ve LOVED your books — they’re better than ALL the other fan fiction versions because they’re an original story of Harvard and growing up, without the emphasis on BDSM, and less and less of ithat as the books move in. Your basic story is far better than E L James’ was.

    3. Now that I’m reading about your post, I think it would be interesting to know from Christian’s perspective when everyone was against him when he was at his lowest (like Carmen or that man in the restaurant). Or even better: his revenge to them.

      Also, I don’t know if Tara plans to show Kim again in some way (so this may not make sense then) but I would love to read what Kim was really thinking when she posted the photo, don’t you think? after all, I don’t know for sure if she was being malicious or only borderline stupid.

      And, definitely… I think that the first one you mentioned has to be one of the outtakes! Big “shit hits the fan”.

  12. There are so many…I love love love this story

    Moment Christian realizes he failed and thinks his reputation and company are ruined. It would be great to have Ros and Welch’s point of view as well as Gail and Taylor when he had to layoff Gail.

    Of course the moment they realized they’d solved the issues and realized been able to use their solution to harness energy.

    Thoughts of individuals who helped Lincoln when they realized Feds were conducting investigation to keep CG happy in order to get Endurance tech.

    Luke and Jade outtake when they decide to semi break up and scene when they get home after he decides to pick her over his job.

  13. The first outtake that comes to mind would be with Elliot when Kate goes into labor. Maybe it could follow a few days of early parenthood and lead into Elliot noticing smoke coming from GEH. If anything else comes to mind I will for sure be back!

  14. Request of not just a Outtake but an entire book.I would love to read Ana’s novels. It gave Chirstan insight of what Ana went through during the break up. Weird (and time consuming) request but I don’t know I always wanted to read it. Ana discussing the sequel made me want to read them so bad. And coming from you I know that would be mind blowing. You pour your soul into emotional scenes and if you write that books it would be amazing. I love the way you describe the pain through words. Not ready to say good bye to this awesome fanfic any time soon.You are the best. Keep up the great work. All the best.

  15. I would like to know what happened at the party in NYC when Carmen and Christian were talking code?

    Why is there such a hate between them?

    The history of what is behind their relationship.

    The whole kit and kabootle. If it’s coming in a chapter soon then….

  16. Awwww nooo!! Does this mean with one chapter to go we miss out on how the pregnancy goes?? What about the birth of the twins?? I can’t wait till tomorrow lol.

    Would love to have an outtake of Kate and Eilliot and them having their baby.

    Another outtake I would love would be a outtakes of Christian dealing with the pregnancy and when he goes to get a vasectomy.

    Definitely would love an outtake of Christian and Elliot going to the zoo, what do they talk about?

    Would love a few side chapters of Kate and Elliot Wedding/baby and how they deal with this .

    Love this story so sad it’s coming to and end. But looking forward to the next story too!

  18. I totally need that time that Elliot and Christian went to the zoo, and also from the time Christian discovered about Ana pregnancy to resigning from GEH. If I had my waitm I’d love for you to rewrite everything for his pov but I’ll be fine with whatever you find relevant and fun to do.

    Ah, and it would be great to read some futuretake with Christian and Luke. Now that he saved Ana’s life and has Jade, I believe those two could get along very well.

    And definetely some lemons, I missed them these last chapters.

  19. I’d love to know what Christian felt and went through when he thought Callie was dead. (I know ray told Ana but I’d love it in Christian POV

    Also when Christian hired Luke to watch over Anna. I want to see how that all played out.

    Would really love rays outtake on when Ana told him about being pregnant.

    And graces for when carrack got cancer.

    Elliot when he finds out Kate was the one the donated for his father to live.

  24. After reading (once again) the last chapter, I would love to read about Carrick when he learned about the Nobel Prize and to know what he whispered to Christian’s ear in the ceremony. I think their relationship is one of the most improved ones since the beginning in ADSOF.

  25. Call me crazy but what about an outtake that introduces Christian’s birth father? If the guy isn’t dead and has access to a television, there is no way he hasn’t heard of Christian via Endurance. We tend to assume his birth father was this terrible person but what if he’s not? Maybe he was a young guy who visited a prostitute one night and never knew about Christian? Or he could be a total piece of s**t. Who knows?

    Just an idea. But I think it would be an interesting outtake that you could take in any direction you want.

    1. Hush Allie. A 5th book is a healthy form of escapism. Great idea about the birth father though. I like the idea he may not be a dick unless of course he is by suddenly wanting to be in Christian’s life after the fact. Nobel Peace Prize not withstanding, right?

      2. I did reply to this a few days ago, but clearly I must’ve done something wrong because I don’t see it here. (sigh). Sometimes even when you finish a story, the possibilities of scenes still swirl and as much as you’d like to stop and rest, your muse may consider otherwise. You’ve made such a community, or rather ‘groupies’ / fan-girling, that it’s going to be hard to let go. I suspect, like me, many of us will be coming back again and again to this story version. Dare I say, (despite your use of characters from E.L James), your story has a beautiful balance in character depth, not only through Ana’s interactions, but of those she interacts with. Your use of dialogue and flashbacks paints a clearer understanding; Elliot’s boyish charm and absolute devotion to his family, Luke’s level of friendship with Ana. In him we see the brother from another mother. Kate’s struggle to rediscover herself living without Elliot, Carrick & Grace’s heartbreak and joy moving together as a couple holding their family together. Even the sub characters have greater depth than the original Fifty Shades.
        So, outtakes. (You did ask. Just saying..hehe). Unlike the popular vote, (Christian’s POV which is awesome), but I’d like to see:
        1) Mia – her process in deciding to work for Elena
        2) Jade – She’s a strong character. What’s her story? Finding love in Luke then choosing to let him go understanding his need to protect his ‘family’, Ana.
        3) Bob – After Ana’s graduation and his decision to leave Carla
        4) Andrew Lincoln – He was a good guy. Why did the Grey’s, all of them, abandon him…or did they?

        You Rock Girl! Any or all or none of the above is fine. Just throwing my small pebble into the lake of possibilities. Cheers Hun!

  28. I’d like Gail & maybe Taylor’s POV when Ana threw Christian’s plate in ch.51. I am dreading the epilogue because that means it’s over, but so looking forward to outtakes. Thank you so much for enus with your amazing imagination.

  32. A couple of ideas:

    Kate/Elliot telling the rest of Grey’s she was the transplant donor.

    Future take with Christian and the twins rowing. Either teaching them to row or having a serious conversation with them on the water.
